Who do that Voodoo (pie)? Your Pie

October 19, 2018

In another example of the long-held truth that potato chips improve everything, Your Pie has partnered with Zapp's Potato Chips for its latest Craft Series offering, the Voodoo Pie. Specifically, the very Cajun-inspired pizza features N'Orleans flavors with Zapp's Voodoo chips and is available now through Dec. 19, according to a news release.

The offbeat pie features a base of olive oil topped with mozzarella and feta cheese, green pepper, red onion, andouille sausage and roasted corn, all baked and finished with Zapp's Voodoo Potato Chips, a spicy ranch drizzle and a pinch of cilantro.

"I have always been inspired by the New Orleans food culture, and we had a lot of fun developing a pizza that pays homage to Cajun flavors," Your Pie Founder and President Drew French said in the release. "The original recipe came from last year's Craft Pie Cook-Off, a featured event at our annual Franchise Fest conference, and we are excited to roll it out nationwide. We could not have brought this Craft Series to life without Zapp's Voodoo Potato Chips, and I can't wait for the Your Pie Family to experience this unique combination."

Your Pie's rotating Craft Series menu has been a brand staple since 2008, and today features five innovative pizzas per year. Past culinary combinations include the award-winning Peach Prosciutto Pie with peaches, prosciutto and a honey balsamic glaze, as well as the smoked-out barbecue Pitmaster Pizza, and most recently, the BBQ Mac n' Cheese Pie.

The 10-year-old brand has more than 60 locations open across 19 states and more than 50 locations in development.
