The way Slim Chickens COO Sam Rothschild tells it, restaurant culinary innovators can get a lot of inspiration for great new menu items simply by roaming the aisles of their local grocery. That is, in fact, where the thought for one of hisbrand's favorite menu items — chicken and waffles — came from, long before the dish became the restaurant menu craze it is today.
Those are just a few of the assets the QSR has played up to help it expand domestically, as well as in places as culturally varied as Kuwait and Great Britain. In this podcast interview, Rothschild shares the brand's take on innovation, customer experience and global expansion, whiless hinting at some possible new menu item superstars in the year ahead.
