Charles Wetzel, CEO of Kalibrate, a location analytics and site selection platform, talks about his company in this video from ICSC 2026 in Las Vegas. He says his company initially offered services, but now its software allows the team to "pivot and produce analysis much quicker."

"I think what we've found over the years is that while you theoretically can do services only or software only, if you can blend the two together and bring the art and science together and leverage the power of technology, the solution not only lasts longer but is more robust in the delivery," Wetzel explained.

Though consumer tastes may change, what isn't going to change is the desire for convenience and what people want in their trade areas.
