Oath Pizza scales up with investment, partnership from Aramark

Oath Pizza is pairing up with food, facilities and uniform provider, Aramark, to bring the certified humane pizza brand to new location categories including college campuses, sports arenas, hospitals, office buildings and more.

The brand, which specializes in ethically sourced ingredients and an avocado oil-seared and grilled pie — has received an unquantified investment for expansion from Aramark, according to a news release. Pizza Marketplace is awaiting response to its questions seeking further details about the deal. However, Aramark is among the largest U.S. food service providers with clients in education, healthcare, sports and entertainment venues, business, government and convention centers.

"We innovate continually to enhance consumers' food experiences with unique and on-trend culinary solutions that are also local and sustainable," Aramark COO Victor Crawford said in a release. "Our partnership with Oath will further enable us to provide a high quality, convenient, healthy and personalized menu option, not to mention a great-tasting pizza with a purpose."

Oath Pizza currently operates om the Northeastern U.S. with  locations in Boston, Washington, DC and New York City. The brand said this partnership allows it to grow faster with new locations coming on before year's end. That includes sites scheduled to open this month on university campuses, along with already opened restaurants in businesses and hospital cafes.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Aramark to scale up and reach new audiences," Oath Pizza CEO Patrik Hellstrand said in the release.
