BOOK IT! is back at Pizza Hut for limited time

Pizza Hut has announced the launch of Hut Originals, a summer platform centered on the brand's history, food and fans, according to a press release.

The campaign kicks off with the introduction of the new Crispy Parm Pan Pizza, available now at participating locations nationwide. Throughout the summer, the chain will also feature throwback values on fan-favorite menu items, unique merchandise partnerships and Pizza Hut Classic location experiences.

As part of the celebration, Pizza Hut is bringing back a tradition for alumni of its long-running reading incentive program. On Wednesday, June 10, guests who bring a BOOK IT! button from any year to participating locations will receive a free Personal Pan Pizza, while supplies last.

The company is also bringing back its BOOK IT! Summer of Stories program, running from June through August. The digital initiative allows parents of children in pre-K through sixth grade to set monthly reading goals via the program's mobile app. Children who meet their goals earn a free Personal Pan Pizza.

Additionally, Pizza Hut is partnering with General Mills and Box Tops for Education for the first time. Customers can scan receipts from the BOOK IT! Family Meal — which includes one medium one-topping pizza and two one-topping Personal Pan Pizzas for $14.99 — to earn Box Tops credit for local schools. A portion of the proceeds from the meal will support the BOOK IT! program and literacy efforts.

"The platform celebrates the moments, memories and menu items generations of fans share with Pizza Hut. BOOK IT! continues to be one of the most beloved and talked-about programs tied to the brand, and this summer we're excited to bring fans new partnerships, experiences and nostalgic moments all summer long."
