Brixx brunch breaks from traditional pizza hours to capture Sunday morning customer

Brixx Wood Fired Pizza is adding a Sunday brunch menu in hopes of capturing sales during a traditional downtime for pizza brands, according to a company news release.

Some of the new items offered for Sunday brunch include, 

• Italian Sausage Omelette Pizza, featuring an olive oil base, Italian sausage, scrambled eggs, peppers, onions, mozzarella and cheddar. 
• Ham and Eggs Pizza with a basil pesto base, prosciutto, scrambled eggs, mozzarella and goat cheeses. 
• Huevos Rancheros Pizza with a black bean base, scrambled eggs, bacon and mozzarella cheese, topped with salsa and sour cream. 
• Garden Eggs Pizza with an olive oil base, spinach, sundried tomatoes, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, mozzarella and feta cheeses. 
• Brunch Supremo Pizza also with an olive oil base, scrambled eggs, Italian sausage, bacon, red onions, mushrooms, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. 
• Brixx Brunch Sandwich featuring focaccia with scrambled eggs, bacon, arugula, tomato, and basil pesto mayo with fruit salad. 
• Special brunch cocktails like the Bloody Mary, Lamarca Prosecco Mimosa and half-price bottles of wine during brunch. 

The brand, owned by New South Pizza Inc., has units in Alabama, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
