California Pizza Kitchen joins American Pizza Community

June 6, 2013

The American Pizza Community has announced that California Pizza Kitchen has joined the coalition. The APC was formed in 2010 to advocate for policies affecting pizza companies and operators of all sizes.

Issues the group addresses include reasonable menu labeling information, labor policies, tax reform and commodity policies. Members of the APC are in Washington, D.C. through today to meet with legislators about how these policies affect their businesses.

"CPK has restaurants in more than 30 states around the country and their involvement will add value to our discussions about the far-reaching impact of our business and how specific policies affect the industry as a whole," said Lynn Liddle, chairperson of the APC and executive vice president of Communications, Investor Relations and Legislative Affairs for Domino's.
