It's National Pizza Month and California Pizza Kitchen is paying homage and bringing back a reimagined version of its Carne Asada Pizza.
In fact, to drive home the celebration, the chain is giving fans a chance to win free pizza for a year through the nationwide Hidden Pizza Dough Scavenger Hunt. It's also offering Pizza Dough Rewards loyalty members $10 off bills of $40 or more this month.
"We've reimagined the recipe and enhanced it with fresh, authentic Mexican flavors like fire-roasted poblanos, tender marinated steak, Monterey Jack and mozzarella and tangy cilantro pesto, served with a side of house-made salsa verde," said the chain's Senior Vice President of Innovation Brian Sullivan, in a news release.
The brand is also promoting online traffic by urging website visits for clues to its nationwide scavenger hunt for Hidden Pizza Dough through Oct. 31, when somebody can win free pizza for a year.
