Donatos Pizza is introducing three cauliflower crust signature pizzas featuring savory plant-based sausage in the company's bid to get out in front of the competition in the race for non-meat-eating diners. The crust has 30% fewer carbohydrates than the brand's thin crust and is featured in three 10-inch signature pies, a news release said.
"Our menu innovation and culinary team did a tremendous job developing these pizzas," Donatos President and CEO Tom Krouse said in the release. "Donatos strives to bring trending flavors and premium ingredients to our customers, and we are excited to add these delicious options to the Donatos menu as it provides more individual choice."
