Fast Casual produces first restaurant-association podcast

LOUISVILLE, Ky. Fast Casual magazine has announce its partnership with the California Restaurant Association to produce a new podcast channel for California Restaurateurs. The new channel, "In the Know," will be available on the CRA Web site,Podcast Grill.comand iTunes.
 
"Our partnership with the California Restaurant Association is extremely exciting," said Paul Barron, publisher of the Food Service Division at Louisville, Ky.-based NetWorld Alliance. "The 'In the Know' podcast is going to bring valuable information to thousands of the association's members, keeping them on the cutting edge of their business."
 
The partnership marks the first collaboration of its kind — a media company providing custom-technology service to a restaurant association.
 
Slated for release in August, thefirst episodeof "In the Know" will coincide with the launch of the new CRA Web site. Subsequent episodes of the podcast will be released each month through January 2008.
 
Podcast Grill boasts more than 9,300 listeners per episode and more than 18,000 streams per month. It is available for download at both iTunes.com and podcastgrill.com.
 
The California Restaurant Association is the oldest restaurant-trade association in the United States and represents more than 22,000 foodservice businesses statewide.
