Foodler upgrades online ordering app

Feb. 5, 2014

Foodler, an online food ordering service that connects consumers with restaurants for immediate delivery, announced the release of its free iPad app, along with several iOS upgrades.

According to a company news release, the new app enables iPad users within the continental U.S. to order delivery or takeout from restaurants – including restaurants that normally don't deliver.

Foodler's updated iPhone app also added the ability to easily re-order past orders and upload a new payment option by taking a photo of their credit card with the device's camera.

"Since launching our iPhone app, we are seeing about 20 percent of our orders coming in through mobile devices," said co-founder Christian Dumontet. "With Foodler for the iPad, we deliver a highly customized, intuitive interface our customers have grown to love within an app designed and optimized for the tablet's larger display."
