Restaurants can share their menus, hours, delivery details and other information thanks to the new Google Connect feature through NetWaiter that allows menus and other specific diner-interest information to be searchable, a news release said.
The offering allows restaurant clients to sync with Google to maximize exposure locally through Google Maps and Google Search. The feature also ensures customers are getting the most accurate information at any time they need it, according to the release.
NetWaiter said nearly one-quarter of all local searches are for restaurants, Google's most popular category choice. Likewise, 30 percent of those restaurant searches are performed on mobile devices, and this feature makes mobile searches readily available for each brand's information.
"Using NetWaiter's new connection with Google should be a prominent piece of every restaurant's local marketing and search strategy," NetWaiter co-founder Jared Shimoff, said in a news release.
NetWaiter's Google Connect feature automatically maintains restaurant information with Google to ensure accuracy automatically, Shimoff said.
