Omaha's Pitch Pizzeria lands on OpenTable's Top 100
OpenTable has selected the 2014 Diners' Choice Award winners for the "Top 100 Hot Spot Restaurants in America." According to a news release, the awards are based on the combined opinions of more than 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for approximately 19,000 restaurants in the U.S.
Included on this year's list is Pitch Coal-Fire Pizzeria in Omaha, Neb.
According to the concept's website, Pitch is the brainchild of Willy Theisen. Its dinner menu includes pastas (such as the smoked cheddar mac & cheese) coal-fired burgers, appetizers (such as lobster risotto), desserts, beer, wine and craft cocktails.
Pitch's pizza menu includes the basil pesto chicken pie, a Margherita pie with San Marzano tomato sauce, a Thai Pie, and the Marsala, with figs, goat cheese, pears, arugula, truffle oil and mozzarella.
