Canadian pizza chain Panago is marking its 40th anniversary with a month-long celebration featuring nostalgic menu deals and a customer appreciation event.
Founded in Abbotsford, British Columbia, in 1986, the company has grown from a small pizza operation into a national chain with 170 locations, more than 140 franchisee partners and approximately 2,750 corporate and franchise employees. Today, Panago sells more than six million pizzas annually, according to a news release.
"Our 40th birthday is an opportunity to thank the customers, franchisees and communities who have been part of Panago's journey," CEO Sean DeGregorio said in the release. "We're proud of how far we've come and excited to celebrate this milestone with the people who helped make it possible."
From now to Nov. 30, customers can take advantage of two anniversary promotions. The $19.86 Totally Rad Larges offer features select 14-inch pizzas for $19.86, a nod to the year the company was founded. Meanwhile, the $40 Retro Feast includes a 16-inch XL recipe pizza, one dip, eight Churro Bites and eight Fire-grilled Wings. Both promotions are available for delivery, pickup or in-store ordering at participating Panago locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Yukon. The offers are not available through third-party delivery apps.
The anniversary celebrations will culminate with Panago's Birthday Party and Customer Appreciation Day on Sunday, Nov. 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participating locations will offer select 12-inch medium pizzas for $5.99. Customers can also request Daiya Dairy-Free Cheese, while Gluten-smart crust is available for an additional charge.
