Papa John's debuts new Pan Pizza

Papa John's is kicking off its new pan pizza, and the results will have casual eaters and hard-core fans alike excited to try it, according to a press release.

"We've been working for a year and a half on this pan pizza to get it absolutely perfect for our pizza fans," Steve Ritchie, president and COO of Papa John's, said in the release. "We wanted this pie to follow our quality ingredient promise but with a unique edge. This brought us to create a new, fresh pan dough and sauce to give our customers more of what they want and love."

The new pizza style comes in a specially designed box for a limited time, and an advertising campaign featuring Peyton Manning and Papa John kicked off Oct. 10, according to the release.
