Papa John's Malaysia earns international quality control award

Papa John's Malaysia recently received the International Quality Control Centre (QCC) Top Performance award for both 2010 and 2011.

According to the Sun Daily, the award is given to the best global franchise market that achieves top performance in the QCC audit, which covers food safety and hygiene.

QCC audits are conducted annually by both a Papa John's International representative and an approved third party.

International QCC is divided into different levels, with Malaysia earning the top spot for Level One (medium size QCC category).

Berjaya Papa John's Pizza Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Berjaya Corporation, is the franchisee of Papa John's International Inc., and has the rights to operate and Papa John's units in Malaysia.
