Paytronix Systems announced the first winner of its 2016 Paytronix Loyaltees Awards — Pizza Ranch. The award is an annual program designed to spotlight Paytronix customers who use Paytronix technology with outstanding results, according to a news release.
A 194-unit pizza chain based in Iowa, Pizza Ranch leadership knew they had to drive consumers to its rural restaurants to turn a profit, according to the release. On Black Friday, the chain announced a one-day double-points promotion for its loyalty club members, and the results were immediately evident. Pizza Ranch had a 67.6 percent lift compared to the previous Friday's sales, as well as a return on investment of 780 percent, along with an increase in gift card sales, according to the release.
"The Pizza Ranch Black Friday double-points promotion with its 780 percent ROI was the clear 'Real Impact' winner in this year's Loyaltees program," Andrew Robbins, president, Paytronix Systems, Inc, said in the release. "With this promotion, Pizza Ranch has demonstrated that a loyalty program can cost-effectively address and solve the chronic problem of peaks and valleys in restaurant sales."
