Pie Five puts 3 'in your pocket'

Pie Five Pizza Co. is adding calzones to its lineup, and to promote the offerings launching Tuesday, it has created a social media sweepstakes featuring freebies and prizes, a news release said. 

Each calzone comes with Tuscan marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese plus choice of the following: 

• Loaded Italian adds pepperoni, ham, bacon, beef, Italian sausage and house dressing.
• Double Pepperoni adds extra pepperoni.
• Meatball adds sliced meatballs.

"Prior to this launch, we tested these Calzones in two markets and received very positive guest feedback," Vice President of Marketing Christina Coy said in the release. "Guests commented on the delicious flavor of the Calzones and said that they were the ideal portion size to take on-the-go."

The accompanying social media sweepstakes prompts guests to take a photo of their calzones in action, on the go or at the restaurant in exchange for freebies.
