Pieology 'toasts' all-in-one POS

 Pieology Pizzeria has deployed Toast Restaurant's POS system throughout its 130 current locations, according to a company press release. 

"Pieology was in need of a technology platform that served as the basis for everything happening in our restaurants," said Rich Long, director of IT for Pieology Pizzeria, in a news release. "We needed a system that streamlined orders, was the right fit for our franchisees, increased our capacity for online orders and, above all else, helped us best serve our customers. With its cloud-based functionality, flexible hardware options, and customer-focused support, Toast is helping us meet our business and growth goals, both immediate and long-term."
Toast’s cloud-based platform allows operators to manage multiple locations in one service with real-time sales, labor and inventory data accessible from anywhere, according to a news release. Menus can be updated system-wide or at individual locations and a built-in online ordering platform sends both web and mobile orders directly to the kitchen to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
