New Hampshire-based Sal's Pizza is introducing an updated menu across Massachusetts and New Hampshire that features a modern spin on the brand's classic Italian foundation.
The update is led by second-generation leader Sal Lupoli Jr., senior director at Sal's Pizza, whose vision for the next generation of the brand is reflected in the innovation of the menu.
"This isn't about changing who we are. It's about building on it," Lupoli Jr. said in a press release. "We've been doing this for a long time. The focus is still the same: quality ingredients, big portions, and real value. We're just bringing new ideas into it in a way that still feels like Sal's."
Building on its legacy of authenticity and quality, the pizza chain is expanding its menu with new specialty pizzas and additional categories. The update also introduces a 14-inch large option, intended to deliver the same quality at a more accessible everyday value price alongside Sal's traditional oversized pizzas.
New specialty pizzas include a Nashville Hot chicken pizza with pickles and ranch dressing; a Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza; and Chicken or Eggplant Parmesan pizzas served with a choice of vodka sauce or classic tomato sauce.
Expanding beyond traditional pizza, Sal's is introducing several menu categories, including the Salzone, which is a pan-style pizza with sliced meats and melted cheese baked on the top. Other additions include an antipasto salad topped with premium cold cuts, cheesy bread, and a shareable cookie pizza for dessert.
The menu is now available at Sal's Pizza locations in Boston, Billerica, Chelmsford, Gloucester, Lawrence, Littleton, New Hampton, Plymouth and Tewksbury in Massachusetts, as well as Derry, Manchester and Salem in New Hampshire.
Sal's Pizza has more than 170 locations.
