Shakey's Pizza Parlor has launched a mobile app and loyalty program designed to reward customers while encouraging more visits to its restaurants, the company has announced in a news release.

The new app allows customers to earn free food and exclusive offers, as well as redeem rewards for Shakey's merchandise and arcade gameplay. New loyalty members receive a free order of the chain's Mojo Potatoes after joining.

"Shakey's has always been about bringing people together, and we wanted our new loyalty program to be an extension of that experience," Cindy Staats, senior vice president of marketing for Shakey's USA, said in a company press release. "It gives our guests even more reasons to come together, have fun and enjoy The People's Pizza Parlor."

Customers can join the loyalty program through the app using their phone number. The program is initially available at 27 participating Shakey's Pizza Parlor locations, with additional restaurants expected to join in the coming months.

The Shakey's app is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
