Blaze, Caviar partner for delivery in 6 major metros

Blaze Pizza has partnered exclusively with Caviar, Square's food-ordering service, to deliver the brand's food to customers in Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Philadelphia and San Francisco. As a kick-off special, Caviar is delivering Blaze menu items at no charge today through Feb. 16, a news release said.

"Delivery has been the number one request from our fans for years and we've been looking for the right partner to help us bring this to life," Blaze CMO Shivram Vaideeswaran, said in the release. "This year, we're looking to change the game on pizza delivery. Instead of the factory-style pizza that has been delivered for the past 30-plus years, guests can now get hot-and-crispy pizza, customized the way they like and delivered incredibly fast through our partnership with Caviar."

Blaze Pizza has grown to more than 240 restaurants in five years with intentions to evolve into the nation's fifth largest pizza chain by 2020, the release said. Blaze also offers online and mobile ordering via the brand's app, but customers can still order by phone.
