Mountain Mike's opens in Newman, California

California-based Mountain Mike's Pizza has opened in Newman, California, near Main Street downtown. The Stanislaus County features the full menu in a 3,900-square-foot restaurant with a kids activity and party room, along with plenty of big-screen TVs, a news release said. 

Fanchisees Palmira and Jose Reynoso are at the helm of the store at 1441 N. St.

Mountain Mike's, which opened in 1978, in Palo Alto, has more than 200 units in California, Oregon, Nevada and Utah.
