Hungry Howie's leverages Super Bowl to thank loyal fans

Southeast Michigan-based advertising agency, DBA Worldwide, helped create two halftime Super Bowl spots for Hungry Howie's based on the brand's "Howie's for Life" campaign.

According to a news release, Hungry Howie's used those spots to thank loyal fans and rewarded one grand prize winner pizza "for life." Two second-place winners received free Hungry Howie's pizza for up to two consecutive years, and 15 consolation winners received prizes such as Palace Sports and Entertainment "VIP Experiences" or tickets to a Detroit Pistons' home game.

Winners were selected Feb. 8 at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Mich., via random drawings for all who entered the sweepstakes at howiesforlife.com.

The company said hundreds of fans were in attendance, all of whom had the opportunity to meet the Pistons' drumline, dancers, Howie's mascot and receive a coupon for a free medium pizza with one topping.
