Sandelman & Associates ranked Little Caesars No. 1 for value and affordability of 148 fast food and pizza restaurant chains in its Quick-Track 2014 Study Annual Awards of Excellence. Little Caesars garnered the top spot for "value for the money" for the eighth consecutive year, and also took top honors for "affordability of the prices" for the seventh time, the company said in a press release.

The company gives Awards of Excellence for overall satisfaction and for the best performances on 16 attributes of the QSR dining experience as rated by customers in the Sandelman survey.

"Customers crave value, but value goes well beyond just price," said Little Caesars Pizza President and CEO David Scrivano in a statement. "At Little Caesars, we see value as the relationship between price, quality, taste, and convenience. We make our dough fresh from scratch each day in-store. We use fresh, never frozen, 100 percent mozzarella and Muenster cheese; And, our sauce is made from fresh-packed, vine-ripened California crushed tomatoes, never from concentrate. From our $5 HOT-N-READY classic pizza to our $12 Bacon Wrapped Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza, our menu satisfies those hunting for a great deal and great quality food."

Sandelman's Quick-Track study included nearly 100,000 customers who rated their most recent visits to QSR chains on a 5-point scale on 16 customer satisfaction attributes. The company bases Awards of Excellence on the percentage of respondents who rate a chain "excellent" ("5" on a 5-point scale).
