Pie Five plans 15 units in the Hoosier State

Pie Five Pizza Co. has awarded up to 15 franchise units for the state of Indiana to restaurateur Carl Dissette. According to a news release, he plans to open the first location in South Bend in Q2 2015.

Dissette currently owns and operates 10 Jimmy John's restaurants and was also one of the sub chain’s original operators.

"I love Pie Five's 'make it, bake it and take it' concept, and the focus on craveable, quality food," he said in the release. "I was blown away by all the fresh ingredients they offer, and being able to choose from freshly baked pan, artisan thin, whole grain and even gluten-free crusts was important to me. Add to that Pie Five's clean and modern restaurant design and the simplicity of their real estate model, and it's got the whole package."
