Aloha-Monkey integration boosts catering, delivery, takeout

NCR Corp. has integrated MonkeyMedia Software for delivery with the NCR Aloha POS system. With the integrated system, orders are injected directly into Aloha POS, cutting the cost and effort required to bring numerous ordering channels together in a single system, according to a press release. 

NCR Hospitality Solutions General Manager Don Zimmerman said the new integration comes at just the right time to meet consumer preferences today. 

"The explosion of takeout, delivery and catering combined with the swift adoption of mobile technology has made off-premise a critical component to the future growth of many of the restaurant brands that we work with," he said in the release. "The key is giving restaurants a platform that empowers them to easily add any channel they want while maintaining the same order flow management into the kitchen and consolidated reporting across all channels."

On the Border Senior IT Director Richard Wallace said the brand is using the new system and spending less time immersed in IT issues. 

"The NCR Aloha POS and MonkeyMedia Software integration has enabled an improvement in operational efficiency while simplifying our catering operations for our restaurant team members," he said in the release. "This represents a significant twofold benefit for our brand."
