Mellow Mushroom getting 'more mellow'

Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers has signed a deal with the marketing agency, Levelwing, to lead its digital strategy, which includes media buying, SEO, creative development and analytics management, a news release said.

The first materialization of that partnership is the "Mellow In, Mellow Out," campaign to boost the200-unit  brand's online ordering. This, along with a series of upcoming paid search and social campaigns, will also work to drive incremental gift card and catering sales this summer around pivotal celebrations for graduation, as well as Mother's and Father's Days.

Levelwing will work to revamp the chain's loyalty program around what it said is a more "Mellow Vibe" designed to retain customers and encourage loyalty, as well as growing the brand's email database. The goal of this effort is to make customers feel how unique the chain is with promotions around anniversaries, birthdays and referrals.
