Pizza Hut's Oman system honored for Big Data actions

Pizza Hut Oman has been awarded the "Most Innovative Industry Application of Big Data" at The Customer Festival Awards, held recently in Dubai.

According to a news release, the winners were selected by an independent panel of judges from brands such as Euromonitor International, YouGov, Bain & Company.

Pizza Hut Oman has structured its strategies in collaboration with Capillary Technologies, a provider of cloud-based software solutions that enable retail marketers to build, manage and analyze customer data. The strategy has driven a significant increase in sales and customer loyalty, the company said.

"At Pizza Hut we understand and respect the likes and dislikes of our valued customers. Our partnership with Capillary helps us make sense of our customer data and their preferences to create meaningful offers, positive product extensions and rewarding programs, based on analytics driven real-time insights. The award reinforces our focus on Big Data analytics, which is powered by Capillary's industry-leading Intelligent Customer Engagement solutions," Marketing Manager Nicodemus Rozario said in a news release.
