July 21, 2016

To celebrate the opening of its new Oaks Mall unit  in Thousand Oaks, California,  PizzaRev announced it will give away free pizza on July 21 from 11 am – 10 pm. Anyone who shows their like/follow status of PizzaRev's social media pages via phone or print-out will receive a free personal-sized pizza with any toppings of his or her choice, according to a press release.

The unit is also the first to debut iPourIt, according to the report. iPourIt is a new system that allows customers to pour their own beer and wine. A total of 10 different local breweries, including Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. and Firestone Walker Brewing Company, will serve their beers through the self-serve system.

"From the spacious patio to the inviting interior and new iPourIt system, our new Thousand Oaks restaurant takes the fast-casual pizza experience to another level," PizzaRev co-CEO and president, Nicholas Eckermanm, said in the release. "We are eager to bring the PizzaRev-olution to Thousand Oaks!

PizzaRev – Thousand Oaks also announced a fundraiser to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), working to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. 100 percent of sales from 11 am – 2 pm and 5 pm – 8 pm on Thursday, July 28 will be donated to the LLS California Southland Chapter.

"PizzaRev is making a life-saving impact in the Greater Los Angeles community through their support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and our mission to end cancer," said Alana Seger, executive director, California Southland Chapter, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. "LLS could not be more proud to be their leading charity partner throughout 2016 and into the future so together we can continue to fund cutting-edge research and help those in need with insurance co-pay assistance as well as travel assistance grants right here in Southern California."
